We encourage annual shearing and do our best to do our part in making that happen.

Since 1995 we have been shearing alpacas, and the business keeps growing. We pride ourselves in a shear job that is pleasing to the eye and attractive to a prospective buyer. We believe that by doing a good job we are enhancing the alpaca's public image, and thereby promoting our industry. We also shear for show, and shear the fleece as a show fleece if desired. We have a basic "cut" as you might say, but we do "custom" shearing, so do many different types of cuts as well. We encourage annual shearing and do our best to do our part in making that happen.

As a service to the growing number of breeders and alpacas, we sell shears, train people to shear, and even demonstrate how to sharpen blades. We have given many demos at shows and fairs etc, with the ever popular hands on demos.

We have done a video with our good friend Tracey Riopel, an international alpaca judge. Ernie & I do the shearing and Tracey does the preparation of a show fleece. Our plan is to market it with the hope of providing a service to people, even if you've seen it done or even done either before, it's a great review of the process.This video is for sale.
